Anyone looking for a taxidermy Emu?
Taxidermy isn't the first thing one usually thinks of when designing a space. But the vintage shops in Portland sure seem to have a lot of stuffed dead things. I see them in the midst of awesome chairs like this vintage yellow school chair and think, "huh, biology class. I think I get it".

I love it when a project starts coming together, stuffed emu or not. Found some really fabulous pieces for a wonderful couple's living room. Not done with the entire project yet, but stay tuned for pictures of the finished masterpiece. Just to give you a tease, their home is a really awesome mix of rustic industrial, eclectic, mid century design. Not sure what that means? This place, Grand Marketplace, has the best things, at fantastic prices, I often feel like I'm hunting for buried treasure when I scope out the vendors here. Indiana Jones ain't got nothing on this #chick, who found a stuffed Emu. #designflipdx
